The making of tatted lace (or ‘tatting’ as it is often called) is frequently referred to as a ‘lost art’ as today there are very few people who engage in the manual creation of this type of lace.   The tatted lace is incorporated as an integral part of the card’s design, representing a flower, a star, a bow, a butterfly or other suitable design element. 

 

I have been designing and making these notecards since 1984, and over that time have created over 600 designs in more than 20 categories ranging from angels and animals to holiday, scripture and ‘Thank you.’   All of the cards are blank on the inside.  My cards (with envelopes) are available in both packages of 5 (in a clear plastic box) and as singles in a clear sleeve.   Cards are fold-over and fit securely into the 3.5” by 5” envelopes provided.  This envelope size is suitable for mailing via the regular U.S. Mail and requires only standard postage.
